How HogMatch works
One pig. One listing. A clearer way to find the right match.
HogMatch is a fixed-price show pig marketplace, not an auction. Each listing belongs to one animal and gives the buyer a direct path to the breeder.
For buyers
- Find the right pig. Filter by breed, sex, age, location and price, then review the photos, video and listing details.
- Ask through HogMatch. Send the breeder a question without publishing either person’s contact information.
- Reserve with a deposit. Create an account and pay the displayed deposit through HogMatch. After successful payment, buyer and breeder contact details are released.
- Arrange pickup. Confirm timing, paperwork and transportation directly with the breeder. Pay the displayed remaining balance to the breeder at pickup.
For approved breeders
- Apply once for a breeder account. A person reads it. No automated rejections.
- After approval, submit one pig per listing with accurate details, clear media, a price and pickup information.
- HogMatch reviews each submission before it appears in the catalog.
- Your account shows the listing’s actual state, expiration, views and buyer inquiries.
- Answer questions through the listing, then arrange collection or hauling with the buyer.
HogMatch connects buyers and sellers. HogMatch does not own, house, inspect, transport or provide veterinary care for the animals listed. Buyers and sellers are responsible for confirming the animal, the sale terms, pickup, transportation and all required health and movement documents.
